The 2026 WASZP Canadian Championships will be hosted by Bedford Basin Yacht Club and for the first time, it will share the same venue and racetrack as SailGP.
Nestled in the Bedford Basin, this racetrack feels purpose-built for foiling: flat water, reliable breeze and a sailing community committed to FOILING.. Combine that with the club’s warm Atlantic hospitality and you’ve got a setting primed for some of the most exhilarating racing of the year.
And the timing couldn’t be better, the Canadian Championships will roll seamlessly into the WASZP North American Championships, creating a back-to-back, two-week foiling festival that follows right on the heels of SailGP’s return to Halifax. It’s the perfect one-two punch for the WASZP Class and a golden opportunity to be part of the growing North American foiling movement.
