Tryout/Development Weekend

Our 2026 Clinic Series offers opportunities for sailors to experience WASZP, build foiling skills, and progress on the water.

The Tryout–Development Weekends are a great opportunity to get on a WASZP, spend time foiling, and practice your skills on the water. They are open to both sailors new to foiling and those with previous WASZP experience who want more time to practice and develop.

The USFOIL Clinic offers a deeper performance-focused experience led by USFOIL coaches and experienced WASZP sailors. Open to both new and experienced foilers, the clinic covers foiling techniques, boat handling, maneuvers, speed, positioning, and advanced skills to help sailors build confidence and progress on the foils.

Explore the 2026 Lakewood Yacht Club USFOIL HUB event calendar on the following page and find the right opportunity to get on the foil.
