WeCANFoil Waszp Clinic October 16-19


All applicants must be approved by SailMaine. We will be in touch with you after we receive your application and will send an invoice once you are officially enrolled.

Cost $375/person


Schedule


October 16th to 19th

Thursday October 16th 4:30 to 7:30 - unload trailer!

Friday October 17th 4:30 to 7:30 - Meet and Greet and boat assembly

Saturday October 18th 8:30am to 6pm 

  • 9AM Briefing 
  • 930-11AM Final Boat Assembly 
  • 12-5PM Sailing
  • 5-6PM Debrief  

Sunday October 19th 8:30 to 6pm

  • 9AM Briefing 
  • 10AM-3PM Sailing 
  • 3-5PM Boat Disassembly & Packing 
  • 5-6PM Debrief 


Expectations

  • Age 12 to 55
  • Exceptions can be considered by the host & WCF on a case-by-case basis
  • Dinghy racing experience or advanced dinghy sailing experience (Opti-29er-420-ILCA or similar)
  • Use of a helmet is mandatory (WCF has helmets available to borrow) 
  •  Appropriate skiff or fast dinghy gear. Gloves and boots are highly recommended.  Drysuits to rent if needed
  • Sailors must bring water and lunch/food/snacks for the on-water session
  • Sailors will help assemble and disassemble and pack up the WASZPs themselves as part of the Clinic
